Your left side produces and processes language, calculates, decides, plans, categorizes, sees the details, your right side perceives music, space, recognizes faces, sees the general picture.
A woman with dissected corpus callosum (that unites the hemispheres) was shown pictures first to her right eye (left hemisphere), then to her left eye (right hemisphere) and was asked to name the pictures. Her left hemisphere coped perfectly well. When her right brain had to tackle the task, she failed to name any of the pictures, yet, when she was shown a picture of a naked woman and maybe something more, she blushed and said: "You doctors! What kind of pictures you have!"
