What do you mean by a public profile? Profile is understandable, but how you distinguish between private profile and public profile?

Put the name in all the search engines (Yahoo, Google, Ask etc.)

Then you can see easily if they have a public profile. Also try checking the local paper - they will have archives and this may also give you a clue.

if u click on there name and there is information about them ie name age sex that sort of stuff it public if you clkick name and there is nothing then not public :)
