My children grew up into responsible, intelligent and loving adults. I don't feel that I could have made any greater contribution to the world than that. They're not thieves, they're not heroin addicts in a gutter somewhere, they're not in prison, they're not abusers... they just grew up well and without a lot of money to give them extra advantages.
I'd say that in this day and age, that was a major accomplishment.

Helping someone find their way on the footpath of life (family and close friends). Aka, being there when needed.
When they are lost, you talk to them about what's important and what's not & let them figure out what they want to do next while they bounce their ideas off you.

Jumping out of an airplane. After I did that, all my problems came into perspective. It's kinda like:
