The dawn of humankind brought perplexing ideas that would later spawn off the understanding of the reality of the human mind. We still have failed to fully explain the comprehension of consciousness, but we have settled close. The unconscious mind has given us a superb understanding on how the unconscious influences our daily choices and ideas. Along side the unconscious, the psychic activity, collective unconscious, and consciousness plays an important role in what makes up our reality.
“The unconscious mind is that part of the mind wherein psychic activity takes place of which the person is unaware”, according to dictionary.com. When mentioning psychic activity we must detach our selves from how the word is presented today. The modern view of “psychic” is broadly viewed as a person that can communicate with the dead and/or knowing// A preview of my theory.

All time happens at once though we only see a slice of it while in human form. The left brain lobe of our minds receives input from our physical world while the right controls our receipt of signals from the invisible world (energy behind emotions, etc). Those with better developed right brain lobes can read the signals, such as what is happening in the future/past.
I'd advise you never to tell anyone of their future though. It causes them to 'lock in' that forecast in their mind and actually takes away from free will.

The unconscious mind is the parts of our soul interacting with our personality while our physical bodies sleep. Our souls are spiritual, energy, so they don't need sleep...so I think the unconscious state is our all-truth knowing souls bouncing around and contained in our physical vessels ,then getting lost in that mass of spongy webbing (the brain?)...... Your gift is so natural to you that you don't see why everyone "doesn't get it"... and can't tap it..But it cannot be taught! Until one Feels it- EXPERIENCES it, and knows what it is, not letting it get the best of him, that understanding is nonexistent-unrelatable, therefore considered dismissable and never even given relative consideration...(let alone the development of understanding it well enough to let it flourish into a concept!!) Beautiful effort though! I'll give you an A for that!!:)

I appreciate that you write pretty well. Start writing novels and you'd cash in on it. Just remember when your novels start selling don't forget me. This is not a joke.
