Why not. england can attack from the very beginning. like germany did yesterday. give no room for ecuador to even breathe. They could leave crouch out though. and i wonder what sven was thinking when he chose the squad, he brought a 17yr old striker who he probably will never use, 2 stylish full-of-class strikers who happen to be coming of injuries and sadly not in form, and a dodo in the form of crouch, who moves so slow and has no dribbling skills, why didnt sven get more strikers?.. with lampard shooting the ball like a trigger-happy cowboy, its left to the midfield to get goals, gerrard, j.cole and others. hopefully england perform better than they have so far.

i think Eriksson needs 2 grow balls and drop either Beckham or Lampard so that he can play a holding midfielder and let Gerrard do the business, as he's the most influential and best player England have.

Don't think he's going with that formation. He's going to put Rooney up front on his own and have 3 in support...Lamps, crouch, gerrad flanking midfield. With that formation any of those 4 will be able to try and score but all the pressure will still be on Rooney I think. I've got a bad feeling that he's going get crocked again today....fergie will go blooming mental!

However, my two cents is that each country has scandals of all kinds that is attempted to be hidden. However, when our Princess Diana was killed, that was a bit too far and when Prince Charles Married the woman who made Princess Diana's life a living hell, that beat most all. However, every country has too much black soil to get out of their whites. Ok, I had to vent.
