go to a department store where they will self fit you specifically for that type of shirt.

Either buy tops with built in "shelf bras" or buy a good strapless bra and then get some Clear Plastic Bra Straps that can be snapped onto the bra for added support. At least they aren't as noticeable. A little classier, less trashy look.

"It's best to not have any bra strap showing. But, not wearing a bra is only for the more daring at heart. Many young girls do this to attract attention. Unfortunately, it has an undesirable effect of making them look slightly sleazy and often attracts the wrong characters.

A better option for a more modest "no bra" look is to wear a soft strapless bra or tube top underneath the thin strapped tops or strapless dresses. Some tops come with a built-in bra.

Alternatively, your daughter could wear a tank top under the thin strapped top. Wearing double layered tops, two tank tops or tank under a camisole is a popular look."

Honestly the best ones I have found are from Victoria Secrets. They are the only ones that stay up for me. When buying a bra to wear strapless buy it for that purpose, not to wear with straps. This changes the fit, and how you wear the bra.

Try a bandeau type bra. That works for me. Some of them come padded, and underwired too, so you don't have to worry about support. But because it's a bandeau - it's like a tube top itself. It also helps if it has a strip of silicon on the top so it doesn't slip down your chest.

I'm not sure where you live, but if you're in the UK, Hong Kong or Singapore, you can try Marks and Spencer. Their bandeau bra works the best.

Get a bra with removeable straps. Go and buy a clear bra strap, buy some powdered foundation, (color closest to your shoulder skin) powder the strap with the powered foundation and then spray it lightly with hairspray so the foundation will stick. That way, the plastic straps won't look glossy and too obvious.

Have you tried one of the newer bras with the clear strapes? Or possible a underwire strapless bra... I have that same problem , I have just come to the relization that I cannot wear those kind of tops because I just do not feel comfortable

They're not stripes, they're straps.
Find a strapless bra that fits you and isn't too loose. Maybe a smaller number would help. Or go without one and stuff padding in there. Like tissue or better paddings. :)

Try the bras with the clear straps.
I've also seen those stick on cups that have no straps or chest band. I don't know how well they support though.

did u ever consider wearing bra with plastic straps. now they have straps that's like string. or if u have big boobs, why wear bra? or u can ask ur dressmaker to attach bra to the dress, that way it will stay forever. no worry of sliding. enjoy ur summer!
