i gather you know everything the people wrote above. but you still see the web site you were looking at in the drop down menu of your exploror page. so go back into TOOLS then click INTERNET OPTIONS then click CONTENT then click AUTO COMPLETE then fill in the 4 little boxes with check green check marks. then click CLEAR FORMS, CLEAR PASSWORDS, then click OK now that should take care of most drop down issues, next go to where you have your msn or yahoo tool bar where you have another little drop down that has not been erased and click around it you will see a drop down where it says CLEAR SEARCH HISTORY. there that will take care of you visual inspection. since i gather you were searching for your girlfriends birthday present and you don't want her to know what gift you will give her. NEXT all that information is available. and can be found in your system so you need to go to WALMART or your local computer store and get yourself a program called SEARCH AND RECOVER. install it it costs about 39.99 at walmart. next read it and set your termination erase mode to 100 times which is the max it will take and then start the recover mode. and then click terminate and the do it again and it will erase the picture of the ring you are going to surprise your girlfriend with. As for all of you out there ... how have their mind some where else. this man is going to surprise his girlfriend with a gift.
