I have been friends with this guy for a year and now we have gotten angry at each other. We are both angry for no reason at all I believe. Also the way we became angry at each other and the reason why. I usually don't forgive other people and am a stubborn bastard on grudges... Do I swallow my pride and say I'm sorry or just forget about him and go on to highschool with a clean slate?

Looks like you're getting some good advice doesn't it? Chances are, he's thinking the same about you if you are friends. Give him a call or however you want to do it, and you guys will pick up right where you left off, go to high school with a clean slate by talking with him or whatever it is you guys do lol work on a car together or whatever lol

you can't Both really be angry for NO reason--that wouldn't make sense. If you truly are friends, you should apologize and try to "make up." Why would you not usually forgive people? Holding on to anger hurts you. Letting go and forgiving others puts YOU back in control of your feelings and the situation. You should start forgiving people up the ying-yang. it's good for your self-esteem! Especially if you plan on having many friends in high school and beyond. :)

Forgiveness and making the first move can be very gratifying for both of you, once you have experienced this you will understand what I mean.Since you say it is for no reason at all, why not attempt reconciliation and have that good friend back? If he won't make up at least you will be able to say you tried.

You got mad for a reason. Did he do something illegal? morally wrong? If so, you may want to dump him and leave him.

If it was a silly reason. Call and make up. He is your friend, right?

However, you are beginning high school. Choose friends wisely. It could determine if you live life in the neighborhood with a family or in the state pen.

They say pride goes before the fall. Well, whoever "they" are, they're pretty smart. Pride can be a liability, as you will learn as you continue to grow. How much do you value this friendship? The answer to that question will lead you to the answer to your first question.

Life is way to short to hold grudges so apologize and next time tell each how you feel so you don't have a repeat performance on your hands.

Life's too short swallow your pride and apologize!

"Gratitude is measured in strength", a strong man would say they were sorry.

Well the first thing is to read what you asking. If the word friend means to you what it means to me then you owe it to yourself to go and talk it out. I believe a friend will give you there life in order to save yours and vise verse.
