Me and my best-friends had been best friend for 2 years now and one day i was talking to one of my other friend and i told her a petty story about a conversation that me and my best-friend had and the girl ran to my best-friend and told her that and added sum lies my friend believed her and now we aint cool no more. i jus wanna kno if she was right.

i understand wat every1 is saying but i tried to talk it over but we ended up almost fighting than i asked the other girl and i jus got more mad at her becuz we we had jus begun to be friends again

nope, I'd go talk it over with her and make sure both of you know both sides and understand each other before decided whether or not you two can still be friends.

You should have talk to your bestfriend about that petty story in the first place...
you were bestfriends right?
you should be open to each other...
maybe if you'll talk to your bestfriend now about it...
you'll be able to resolve your problem and maybe maintain the friendship...

If your friend was going to believe someone else and not you, is she really a friend?
Ask the other friend why she told stories and point out you told her in confidence. You didn't realise she couldn't be trusted.
Personally people are people and will gossip.
