Well, from the choices given, I'd say Jim Carrey.

I've liked pretty much everything he's done so far, and I think that if he applies himself, he can do drama as well.

I like the fact that he can do so many impressions, it reminds me of Robin Williams, another of my faves.

Jim Carrey is becoming a fine actor repeating the lines someone else gives him, but, if you ever saw him doing a stand up routine of his own, he is as funny as herpes. Check this out to see what I mean:

Martin Lawrence tried to be Eddie Murphy and failed, as Eddie Murphy did too.

Will Smith has buckets full of talent, but, he is NOT a comedian. He is a singer/actor and he is good at both of them.

Sorry to appear so negative about these guys, but, that's my opinion.

Jon Stewart. The Daily Show makes me laugh so much every time I watch it. That guy rocks, he is hilarious! If you meant more like stand-up comedy, there is this Canadian chick named Nikki Payne who is absolutely brillant. She's on the Last Comic Standing right now and on a canadian show called Comedy Inc. She's so funny.
