And found out that your entire life was a dream and you had the choice of living it out as it happened, would you do it? Marry the same person, make the same mistakes? Or would you try to write a new story. And don't give me that my mistakes made me the person I am today bull...c'mon live a little. I apologize for telling you how to answer the question.

are you kidding? I have happy times in the past, but I would rewrite in a heart beat, people tell you they won't are liars. It is nice just to dream about it, thanks for the question.

I still want to keep my hubby in the new story, but change a whole lot of other staff:)

Life is a dream. But when pain and regret tell you to write a "new story", then have the guts to do so. You think it's too late?

You can't go back. You can't relive it, you can only change this moment and the moments to come. We would all go back and make changes based on hindsight.

I would live my life over as myself and make many of the same choices and many different ones.

All you can do is this: Pretend it's August of 2011. Now pretend that you are looking back on right now, June 2006. What did you do? Try and project out where you are going and try to pretend that today is already gone and past.

If you try this exercise you'll realize that you can change and the future just keeps coming. When you get to 2011 are you still going to be asking these questions? Or will you have lived it differently?

Your mistakes really do make you who you are. If you never made a mistake in your life, what would you have missed out on learning? You think Bill Gates or Donald Trump never made mistakes? I'll bet you they made lots. Just like everyone else.

That being said, I think a better question is, how would your life be different if you could go back and re-write the mistakes you made? Maybe you were better off making those mistakes. Sorry, this probably isn't the answer you were looking for, but I happen to be a firm believer in the saying, "What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger".

The answer to that question is that I would still marry the same person but I would leave as soon as all my children were born. No; I would not marry my second husband. Yes; I would then have lived my life quite different. But the problem is that it wasn't a dream and I can't go back. My life is not over yet. I still have a chance to make my dreams come true.

I think anyone with the exception of the Bill Gate's and Hugh Hefner's and Donald trumps would rewrite their life. And truth be told some of them would re-write theirs too.

There are parts that i'd definetely rewrite. I have no regrets, but I wouldn't mind having been able to edit the rough draft of my life before publishing it.
