Deep breathing and soft music can be helpful. Also a technique I learned long ago was to tense up all my muscles and then start slowly relaxing them starting at my toes and moving upwards ending at the muscles of my head/face. Good Luck and sweet dreams!

There is a supplement called melatonin. You can usually find it in a drugstore or one of the larger supermarkets or probably a GNC store. It helps regualte your sleep cycles/patterns. I have a hard tim falling asleep and staying asleep, and I have found this works pretty good for me. Good luck!

Are you bothered by something; perhaps some unfinished business; some hurt or some misunderstanding?

I suggest a warm bath, some soothing self gratification, clean sheets and DON'T try to sleep.

Just let it come naturally.

If any of the first items I mentioned to you happen to be true - well, then you will have to make those things right.

And then I suggest a warm bath, some soothing self gratification, clean sheets and pleasant thoughts.

Avoid drinking caffeine (tea, chocolate, coffee) 4 hours before bedtime and try to go to bed same time every night. Try playing a relaxing music. Try melatonin too.

You need to see a doctor. I can even refer you. The best doctors in this area that I have found are Dr. Jack Daniels and Dr. Jim Beam.
