Just recently becoming interested in politics, mainly sparked by the whole illegal alien march of ignorants, I have been searching for the party that best represents my views on how our country should be ran.
Studying candidates running for office- reading their stance on the issues..... I think I am either Republican, Libertarian, or Independant. Why are Democrats comprised mostly of either woman or ethnic types?........I respect woman and all ethnicities, I am just curious?. What is the more "American 1st" party?

Democrats kiss up to the women and minorities because that's all they have. The Democrats are an ineffective party and they've proved it many times. The more American 1st party is that which represents all people and not certain groups. Which none have done.

There is almost no way to fit ideally into either political party or into a single political spectrum. I'm very conservative to the point the Republicans consider me a right winger and I disagree with them for their liberal views. But I can't go with the libertarian approach of no government either.

You should go with your point of view of the issues, and if the issue is important enough to you then vote on candidate (for either or any) party that support your position. Not the party.

Could you make your question more clear?
What is the more 'American 1st' party? You mean the first party? Or what party makes Americans first? Which American? Everyone? That would include big business and business owners so they can have jobs for everyone. If everyone got paid too much then businesses would close because they would lose profits. You know which party that would be. Though some would disaggree.

i think demorcrats will try and hook young people with the cry of injustice...that;s what got me started. but the more I looked into it...I interned for a dem. senator and realized they are Sooo full of **** and the closest thing to a minority in the building besides me was the CLEANING LADY who came in twice a week. What a joke. Then the more I study the law I realize that the dems defend murderers on death row. its all a crock. but they shouldn't prey on young and innocent people getting involved in politics for the first time. too bad the gays are getting a bad rap from the anti gays im not against them so i may have to vote democrap again this year

Neither, immigration policy is an issue that doesn't lend itself readily to party politics. A politician's stance on immigration will be more reflective of his or her constituent base. Both Rs and Ds might represent rural districts that benefit from migrant laborers or areas that are experiencing a housing growth cycle and thus might benefit from day laborers. They will favor a relaxed border policy. Other Rs and Ds might represent a district that is suffering from high unemployment or job outsourcing. They will favor a tight, heavily regulated immigration policy. As you can see,

I'm Republican, and for good reason.

If you are just getting into politics, I warn you that not everything you hear is true. CNN and many other networks are very biased.

I like to see people get into politics, but there is so much biased propoganda out there.

Feel free to e-mail me if you have a political question about what each party stands for as far as current issues... and yes I will be fair.
