I'm just curious, as I haven't been a member here for very long. When the last Harry Potter book came out, did people post spoilers all over this site? I'm wondering, because I avoided the internet and tv for that very reason until I was finished reading it. A friend of mine even encountered someone in a book store who was telling people what happened as they walked up to buy the book! How rude.

I'm guessing that by next summer the whole web will be covered in spoilers. When Half-Blood Prince was released, I was scared to open my email because I was afraid people would send me spoilers. As soon as I got the book, I raced out of the book store, drove home, and locked my front door until I had finished reading. I hate spoilers, and all the people who post them. I think, that without a doubt, there will indeed be spoilers on this site. Book 7 is going to make all the Harry-haters go crazy, and if I were you, I'd keep off the Inernet at least a week before the book's release date. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Harry Potter is a gigatically famous book...of course there are going to be spoilers on this site, and every other site imaginable on the internet. What HBP came out last summer, I even saw a spoiler or two on sites for Lord of the Rings.
