I like Halo 2, the music fits the part of the game it's played during, and it sounds great. My favorite song is the theme "MJOLNIR mix" (the theme of the monks chanting, but with electric guitars and other instruments).

"Daddy Mulk" from a game called The Ninja Warriors. It was a widescreen arcade game out in the late 1980s and I remember the soundtrack from that game since it had a really unusual Japanese symphonic orchestral/electronic soundtrack, not to mention it was one of the only games around at the time that had actual voices in the music. Even by today's standards it sounds pretty good especially considering when it was made.

i would have to say an old super nes game final fantasy 3. the music is beautiful and some of it even romantic. my favorite song from the game is Terra's theme song.
