hmm as someone already mentioned.. it depends on what you're after..
that said.. ONE of the things I'd look at is crime rate..
Atlanta has the 5th highest murder rate, Las Vegas is in at 24, and Tucson is right behind as number 26.
and then housing costs....
AZ Tucson $250,833.00
GA Atlanta $303,000.00
NV Las Vegas $359,500.00
and job rates/growth.. etc etc theres a ton of factors to weigh... though, one of the most important I'd say is how do you feel in these cities? Some cities I really enjoy being in that have bad crime rates or other troubles.. and other cities that seem better off on paper make me feel like I'm in an armpit... hehe.

The cost of living in Tucson is unbelievably high. The cost of living in Vegas is reasonable, but the crime rate is sky high. Why not take a look at Pahrump? It's comse enough to work in Vegas without being as crowded or as crime ridden.

Depends what you're looking for. Las Vegas is the fastest growing city in the US. There's no sales tax.

There is sales tax in vegas. there is no state tax. Its nice here but if you like the water you will not see much here. If your single you will love it. But if your married you might get bored.
