Since the baby is one year old, the food should be geared to the adults attending the party, mom, dad, grandma, granddad, aunts and uncles and such. The adults really have fun when the baby is served his first birthday cake and he/she puts his face in it to take a bite. Just have the camera ready!!

Well for my daughter we are just doing cake but if i had the money i would do something like hotdogs and hamburgers. That is allways good party food especailly if it is a outside party. But i would really check on the ages of the kids and see if you may have some younger ones that maybe you could get some carrots or something like that for that is small enough for them to chew or something soft all together like sandwiches.
