The TV replays of the match against Sweden showed that Ballack was seriously upset with himself or......, for not been able to score in the match, was too irritating for supporters like me. He even uttered filthy words after he missed the last chance. Such frustrations of the captain of Germany, had spoiled the second half of the match. He could have given many passes to others like Klose to score more goals and win the match with 5-0 margin. If he continues to do the same way in other matches, I am sure Germany would not be able to reach Finals. The Team management and the coach should warn Ballack to refrain from such unsportsman like ammeturish acts on the field as the entire Germany and the World saw him yesterday.

I'm not necessarily defending Ballack here, but we can't really say that he was "hogging the ball." Perhaps, if we were in his position, we would have done the same thing. Maybe what happened was, he saw an opening, took it, and the pressure got him making him miss the goal. Which such a great opportunity like that wasted, even I would have probably said a bunch of curse words to myself.
But then again, he is the Captain, and as Captain he should be able to keep his nerves in check despite being under pressure.
Let's just hope they do even better on their next game! =)

It is beacuse of pressure. Too much is being expected from him. And he's name is at stake. If he wants a brighter future in soccer, he has to make a name in this World Cup just like what Ronaldo and Maradonna did!
