Hiya. I just picked up a laptop, and I have a few questions about how I can get it to connect to my internet.?

Okay, I just got a Toshiba Satelite as a gift from a family friend, and I can't for the life of me get it to connect to my router/modem. I bought the ethernet card, I checked the cords, I reconnected, restarted the modem, restarted the computer, everything I can think of. Any advice?

Okay. Ethernet disc was installed, and internet connection support callers make me feel like I'm talking to Dr. Phil.

did u install the sofware on the ethernet card to your latop? mm kayyyyyy
