it drives me crazy ! i feel like taking the popcorn bag and smackin it on their heads !

Ya...I feel like taking the popcorn bag from them and just throwing it up in the air and letting all their popcorn go flying all over! then i feel like being annoying back and tiping my cup back and forth making the ice roll up and down making that annoying noise!

Well, it depends what part of the movie they are chewing the popcorn. If they eat popcorn during a loud or action packed moment, then I dont have any problem with it. However, if I hear the popping during a serious, quiet, and dramatic moment, then it kills the moment. Dont eat popcorn when it is quiet, try to do it when there is plenty of background noise to drown it.

i don't mind the sound because i have never been to a theater that played a movie quietly enough for me to hear anyone else doing anything at all. even the old grandmas who pee in the popcorn bucket cos they don't want to go to the bathroom during the show. don't tell me this never happens. check yahoo news for urination in theatres.
but i don't like popcorn anyway. the hulls get stuck in my teeth and i can't get them out and i hate the bitey salty spicy three-day-long lasting flavor of the salt or oil or whatever it is that makes it so i can't ever taste anything else, even if i wash it down with a bottle of vodka or rum. that's not good.

You bid it does...I want to turn around and slap it out of their hands... BUT then there would be a fist fight...And thats not worth it,not for a bag of popcorn...

Its better than a cell phone! I hate it when people talk during the movie if they have seen it and they are like "This is where..yada yada happens."

So much that I will move. I think chewy snacks are somewtimes worse if people eat them with their mouth open

i heard it worst, not only popcorn! godddd...., some crunch snacks, talking on cell phones, talking to nearby friends about this film...etc. god damn it. :(
