Around 10 % of the World's Population is Left-handed.

Technically, if -everyone- answered this question (righties AND lefties), about 1 out of every 10 posts would be the response of a left handed person. However, that number is thought to be going up as there is less of a stigma against left-handedness and fewer people are hiding it. (There will probably be more than an average amount of lefties answering though because this post will attract their attention.)

As for myself, no I'm not left-handed but a brother and a grandfather of mine is.

Well, sorta. I was born right-handed, but eventually got sick and tired of being just like everyone else (about 90% of the world is right-handed), so I trained myself to do things left-handed as well. Don't know if that counts or not, as my laterality is more along the lines of "Right-handed/Ambidextrous."

Also, two of my friends are left-handed. And they're both very smart people. Coincidence? I think not...

Well i do not know how true it is but every 23 rd person born in the world is left handed, and after 5027 left handed people born 177 people are born left handed and then the cycle repeats.

I am left footed. In a track meet, I need blocks that will allow me to start my race with my left foot. But my right hand is dominant over the left.
