Wonder if a speedy cash will cash a 3800 certified cashiers check?

There are so many fraudulent cashiers checks in circulation that I doubt they will cash it. Keep in mind that if it bounces, you still owe them the money -- and they will go after you for it.

Your best bet is to present it for collection at your own bank. Don't deposit it, there is a big difference! If you present it for collection, the funds are not deposited to your account until the bank can verify that the check was actually paid by the issuing bank. That way you won't be left holding the bag having spent the funds already.

If someone who you have never met in person sent you this check there is a good chance that it's fraudulent, especially if they want you to wire some of the funds back via Western Union.

More than likely,, but the fee will be high... Better off if you dont have a savings account,, open one with it and then withdrawl it all-a couple of days later... Why pay someone,, especially-if you are like most of us and need the do ray me... $$$$
