I think studying abroad is a excuse to get away from home, also stress on parents bank account... Not much help in studies (no offend, it's just my point of view)
Although in the end, you still get a "cert" back... but how many % can get a good paying job? I got frens coming back with degree but earning the same as a dipolma holders...

It really depends which country you come from. If you're from a country like Indonesia or Vietnam, going to a country with better education system will definitely help you out.

If you're from the UK and went to Australia to study for example. I don't think it'd help very much because potential employers will see no additional value in hiring you compared to any other bloke.

Another point that you can look at it is that, if you study in a particular country, it'll definitely be more easy to find a job in that country after you graduate :-)

Hope that helps.

Yes! Its a tremendous benefit. You'll be immersed in another culture, and value system. Getting their perspective on everything from food to politics. You'll be living the lesson, rather than reading it from a book. There's nothing comparable to being able to ask about something to the person who defines it. It's the difference between memorizing details, and comprehending the subject. You'll come home with a new love for our home; and a wider frame of reference for everything. Do it. -Except for France. I hate the french-- lol.

It depends how you utilize the opportunity. Just studying abroad does not make sense, you have to find the exact place that satisfies your need and boost yourself.
