This is an interesting question, but it's not immediately obvious what it involves.

The current Moslem population are not Muslim and do not believe in Allah? They, like everyone else, believe there are many gods? The Jews have no religion and do not believe in Jehovah, their one true god? They believe in many gods, as they once did before the ten commandments--Thou shalt have no other gods besides me (implying that there are other god, but the Jews should renounce those other gods).

If this is what the question means, then the "Muslims" believe in many gods and the Jews believe in many gods. (By the way, there may not even be Jews without a belief in one god.) Well, that just pushes the matter back: One or more of our gods, say the one-god-less Muslims is better than one or more of your one-god-less Jews. So, here we are back fighting over which one has the best or strongest god.

Well, maybe you mean that no one anywhere believes in any kind of god. Who knows? Then maybe we'd be fighting over land or water or food or men or women or something else. The belief in a one-god idea started around 10,000 years ago, at the end of the last ice age, when we stopped being hunter-gatherers and began agriculture. At that time, we moved from a belief in the Goddess to a belief in God, from female god to male god. That's around the same time that we became warlike creatures.

Was there ever a time when humans had no gods? Don't now. This would be an interesting question to spend your life trying to find out.

In conclusion: I don't know if there would or would not be fighting in Israel-Middle East region if no one believed in god. Probably there would still be fighting--over something or other.

God is defined in many ways to different people. God ties into religion and wars are started because the different beliefs of running a world on a system. Demacracy is a system that is pushed by christianity and other religions, and other governments are run by there religion. Religion is used to build a way of living a positive life and what the governments have realized is that they can use that for there advantage, just like they have been doing from the dawn of civilization. Just look back in Roman history and you will realize what era we live in. Get rid of religion and lets construct a new system that will stop all of this maddness.

There would have been no fighting in Israel, for far before that the human race would have been wiped off due to internal quarrels and fights, if they never believed in god

Actually, if no one believed in God, there would be fighting all over the world. Religion may be, and is, something people fight over, but without it, the whole universe would be a hostile arena for everlasting conflicts.

Probably not. The only reason everyone wants control over Israel is because of the belief that it is holy.

they'd find something else to fight about

when people want to wage war, they very rarely need a reason. if god came down from on high and told them all to stop warring, they'd fight over what language he said it in. or the color of his eyes or whose style robes he was wearing or some such other stupid idea.
