No. Your wisdom teeth can stay in your mouth if they are in the correct postion to fall down next to your other molars. However, most of the time, they grow in at an angle and will impact the molars around it, thus having to be removed.

No, not everyone has to get them removed. Some people might only have to get one removed and others might have to get all four removed. If I remember correctly, my brother, who was in the Navy, told me that all military personnel have to get their wisdom teeth removed. I guess the reason being that they don't want them to be out to sea or out on the battle field and start having problems with their wisdom teeth. Your dentist can usually tell by dental x-rays if you need them removed.

no it's not true. It's just those for those that grow wisdom teeth into their mouth usually have a problem; their mouth is too small. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled days before I started my senior year in high school...

Not everyone. But most people do. Wisdom teeth tend not to fit in most mouths. This causes them to become impacted and swollen and they should be removed. But as with everything, there are a few people who have no problems with theirs.

Well, due to the fact that it's hard to clean back there, wisdom teeth takes up residual plaque and gets "rotten", until one day, it starts to hurt and then you would need to go to the dentist.
I still have my wisdom teeth. Last time I went to the dentist, they suggested that I would get it removed because it messes up the adjacent ones.
So the answer is yes. You can wait for it to hurt if you want.
I'm actually scared to go get it removed.

Not all people have to have them removed unless there causing problems. My nephew just had his taken out because they were coming in sideways and were impacted. As long as they come in straight and aren't pushing your other teeth out of alignment you should be OK with them. You'll know when there causing problems.

No. I had to have mine extracted when I was 20 because they were impacted, causing my whole mouth to hurt. The oral surgeon had to break my jaw on both sides. Out of 7 children only 2 of us had to have them removed.

Not unless it has a very bad cavity or it bothers you otherwise it doesn't need to be removed.
