can someone tell me where can I get the list for CTrl+numbers list to get extra symbols like arrows,french ..?

First off, it's alt+#. Second off, use word or works or something like that to generate characters. Don't waste time trying to type them in yourself...

It's not Ctrl+######'s it's Alt+######'s
You access these by using the Character Map. You can find the character map by pressing: Start>Run>charmap.exe
