Books aren't the way to go, trust me. When you're reading the info it's hard to understand and you need someone to accually show you how to play. Go with an instructor.

Check out Amazon.com. They have a lot of good books and DVDs. I'd recommend a DVD over a book. Being able to visually learn as well as hear is much more efficient. Enjoy!
