It has been said by a very famous poet that the words "cellar door" are the most beautiful sounding words in the English language. I suppose you would have to imagine that you had no idea what those words meant in order to appreciate the simple beauty of the sound. Since this is very difficult for anyone who actually speaks English, my personal favorite is "mother".

I like the word awesome. I use it in describing people and events.
The word means to be filled with awe, which itself means, according to Merriam Webster, an emotion variously combining dread, veneration, and wonder that is inspired by authority or by the sacred or sublime.
