I think she should. Anyone who was married to that old fart Howard Marshall II and had to perform "wifely duties" with him deserves every penny. I mean, come on...he was like 89. He knew what he wasn't attractive to a 26 year old, he basically bought her, and she should get what's rightfully hers. They used eachother.

she was the legal spouse of j. howard marshall at the time of his death, yet the will left nothing for her. Under the probate laws, a spouse cannot be cut out of a will. So yes, she should get her fair share. The debate, however, is how you define "fair share." Incidentally, the person fighting her in court was Marshall's son, Pierce Marshall and he just died a few days ago. It is likely the lawsuit will continue and another heir who would stand to inherit the estate would become the new Plaintiff.

YES, she did the time so she should be paid.

She married the guy and appeared to be loyal to him, and willing to have sex with him. He wasn't stupid so he knew he didn't have too long to live with her, but she sure was hot and fun to be with, and he pursued her for years. Didn't she keep her maiden name, that proves she wasn't really committed to the relation ship, but she did the time and the job he required of her so, I think that she should get the dough.

According to: http://www.andtheylivedhappilyeverafter.com/24.htm
"There is a law suit currently going on in Texas, between model Anna Nicole Smith and her late husband's family. Because her husband did not expressly name her in his will, his son is now attempting to disinherit her completely, on the unspoken assumption that, since she is a beautiful young woman, she must be a money hungry gold digger who married her feeble oil baron just to inherit his millions."
Check out the web site for their reasons why Anna should and should not get the money.

The Supreme Court's decision said she could continue to pursue the lawsuit, but since the son that filed the lawsuit has died then the point may be mute. A decision hasn't been made yet because it is smart expensive lawyers fighting smart expensive lawyers. The family may continue the suit, but their case could be weaker.

Being one to hate gold digger women, I find it hard not to like Anna Nicole Smith. I loved her mini epic TV reality show, while it lasted.....and having a close look into her life, I found some respectable traits about her.

But she did what she felt she had to.....and won.....so far.
