Only they and their lawyers know for sure. Rumors that I have heard is that he was hanging out with the fellas more that her and she thinks he is gay. I have to agree with the other fella that posted on here about how unstable and impulsive as she is, I doubt it is based in fact. If it were true, that would be a legitimate reason to cite "fraud" and ask for an annullment. If not true, it might have been a way for her to seek revenge and get around division of assets that a divorce would cause.
Another rumor is that the entire marriage was just a publicity stunt to boost ticket sales at his concerts and to boltser ticket sales for her movies.
Anytime two people get married and when they have not known each other more than six months has the statistical likelehood of one or both parties feeling like the person misrepresented them and feel they are a fraud and a phony, when the fact of the matter is that neither party had a chance to really get to know the real person once the romance fades and you have to start dealing with real issues and conflicts.

Renee Zellwegger or however you spell her name is a weird person. Don't you see the tension and insability in her mannerisms, face, tone of voice, etc. etc. etc. in all of her movies.
She plays roles all over the map, but she almost always plays a kind of emotionally vulnerable person, or else a person who has to deal with somekind of unsettling emotionally challenging abnormal situation.
I am sure that she had some kind of impulsive feeling about "bubble gum country" boy there and then barely into the relationship she had a total about face and decided she had to "take control" of her situation.
The need for drama is not lost with that woman.
Kenney Chesney, on the other hand. Have you heard his music and seen his videos.
Zellwegger comes from a kind of artsy fartsy background, inevitably so, otherwise whe wouldn't be in Hollywood, so the very fact that she ended up with a kind of total contrary to that whole dynamic reflects just all the more how very impulsive and unstable a person she is.
I am not saying that she is a bad person, only that she is a little moody and impulsive.
