No, they dont suck.

They just happen to run into the 2 best teams in MLB right now.

Both The White Sox and The Tigers are on a mission.

Only time will tell just how much of a mission The Tigers are really on.

I believe The Tigers are for real, and could take the wild card.

The White Sox are just too good, and will win the Central.

Um, no the Cards don't suck. They've got a pretty good pitching staff(including Chris Carpenter, last year's Cy Young winner, unfotunately on the DL presently)and they've got a great lineup...and two more words for ya: Albert Pujols, who is easily the best player in baseball, tweaked oblique muscle or not.

As for the series vs. the Sox, there's rumors of the Sox stealing signs, but thats unproven. On the other hand, every team will have their "a$$ handed to them" a few times during the season. They're leading their division and are a big time contender, if not the NL favorite to go to the World Series.

So, No, the Cards definitely do not "suck".

They cards only suck when they are up against the best teams in all of baseball.

other than that, they're fine. getting their a**es handed to them just lets them know where they are at on the ladder.

as of now its: 1) White sox
2) Tigers
3) Mets
4)Cards, and so on...
So thats all this past week proved. As for the sox stealing signs?

Come on now people, That could at best only account for a run or 2, IF IT WERE TRUE WHICH IT ISN'T.

the reality is, they got their got slaughtered like a wolf among lambs.

While it appears as though the National League is rather weak this year, the Cardinals are definitely legitimate. There is a great deal of talent on their team. Solid hitting from top to bottom, starting with Eckstein and following through with Edmonds, Pujols, and Rolen. And Chris Carpenter leads the way on a good pitching staff. Suppan, and Marquis will get their wins. And Mulder as well once he returns from the DL.

I think they are just in a slump, which every team goes through during the course of a 162 game season. It certainly is better to go through a dry spell in June rather than September and October.

Off course they suck if u compare them to those steroid using team of the White Sox, did you saw the way they score runs when they played the Cards, they scored 20 something runs. And 3 players on that team are close to having 40 homeruns, this hasn't been done since 1970's, when players where using Steroids and admit today that they had used it.

Where were there rumors that the White Sox stole signs from the Cardinals? Are the Cardinals coming up with these as an excuse as to why they got the s**t pounded out of them on the South Side?

I would just like to say to "kambria" that David Eckstein is nowhere near being overrated, he's one of the most underrated players in the game. If you want to hear about an overrated person, talk about Jim Edmonds, but never disrespect David.

they are seriously nothing without albert pujols.
good to see him back if you're a cards fan.
mark muler and david eckstein are among the most overrated players in baseball, and tony la russa has never been as good a manager as some people would have you believe.

You have to remember, they are struck with injuries this year. Its pretty hard to compete when key players get injured, they just have to gel together.
