Make sure your machine is completely off.

1.Turn off computer unplug everything from it
2. Take off case cover.
3. Take out old ram.
4. Put new ram in.
5. Put case cover back on.
6. Plug everything back in power up PC.
7. You're done.

When it comes to ram you don't have to do anything. Just power down put ram in and run PC. You don't install anything. Here is a step by step with pics.

Don't worry about grounding yourself you will be fine.

nothing, first of all, disconnect the power off ur computer, just open ur cpu cabinet & replace the RAM by open the locks of it.. & replace the electric supply of computer & cabinet's cover.. ur computer is ready with new ram...... u can check ur ram by click on My Computer's Properties in Desktop.....

Download any program that tests ram, then make sure you know which ram it uses, avoids emberasment when the modules don't fit/work....
