In sims 2 what occasions do they celebrate?

For example christmas...

birthdays, sports party, toga party, graduation party, wedding party, new year's party and the normal house party. i might have left some out though..

That is only in Sims2 Holidays. In the normal Sims2, there are no occasions other than celebrations like wedding, house party, birthday part adn anniversary. Other than that, there are no holidays to celebrate in the plain Sims 2. You must get an expansion pack for that.
