Men typically have to urinate after sex to clear the urethra of seminal fluid.

Women are advised to urinate after sex as they have an extremely short urethra and sex can actually force bacteria high into the urethra causing a bladder infection. This is just to flush away fluid and bacteria.

And some just need to go pee...

I have to pee after sex sometimes. I think it might have something to do with a little bit of semen being left in the urethra. Your body is just trying to keep the urethra clean from any obsturctions, so it uses urine to wash it out.

After having my bladder pounded on for any length of time, YES! And it must be true for men, too, as my ex husband and any other man I've ever been intimate with has rushed off to the bathroom quite quickly after the climax of the session.(lol).And I didn't always think it was because they couldn't look at me afterwards.
