I have one floor vent that puts out this septic smell when the furnace comes on. I was told that it may be caused from this particular floor vent being flooded at one time. The Stink pipe and all that is fine and nothing is leaking. The smell only comes out of this one particular vent even though there are several. Also how much does this flexible ducting cost? Ballpark. Thanks for your help.

depending on size of duct, around $30-60. crawl under the house and measure the INSIDE tube of the duct, the part that directs the airflow. Just make a small cun in side and run a tape measure into it. go to either home depot of lowes and pic up a bag. inside the bag is instilation instruction, just rember, you cant use too little duct tape to recure the new one on.

Depending on the crawlspace. Something could have also crawled in there and died. There are different sizes of flex duct and the length matters as well. You can price check for the flex duct.
