Don't need additional software.

All you need is to create individual login accounts for you and your household members.

Go to start->programs->administrative->computer management
then
system tools->'Local Users and groups':
right click on 'User' text/folder
select 'New User'
enter info and unique password

Tip: create a shared folder, 'bucket' for documents that all logins can share, such as photos, mp3, etc...
Right click on any folder to share (or create a new one), Properties->Sharing
give name-(what others will see in windows explorer)

Then to limit users, so files are not accesible to all the computer accounts so that your work files are secure and private.
click the 'security ' tab
select the permissions per accounts.

you dont need software, Go into your BIOS usually hitting F10 when booting up ure PC and make a power on Password, What that does is it dosent allow anything to boot up other than power until you have entered your password, and then ure OS loads up

As all BIOS are different you may have to search for the option, Usually falls under security though

Use a BIOS password. Hit the 'Del' key repeatedly at boot up and it will take you to the BIOS screen. From there you can navigate to the set user password option and set the security to system. There you are done!!
