There's no cultural sensitivities to be "aware" of. You don't need to cover your head or anything silly like that. You'd only have to worry about that if you went to Northern Nigeria, where the Hausa's are. The south is liberal and very open.
As for packing a gun, I wouldn;t suggest it. If you get caught and locked up, even Amnesty Intl won't be able to save you, for a while at least.

I am a nigerian take shorts sandels a pair of sneakes sun block lotion pack light with clothes that do not atttract heat to your body. Make sure you do not do anything you would not do in Canada. Be smart about decisions you make. That is all have fun it is lovely to visit I think of course I am from there.

I'm thinking you're probably an engineer or with the oil companies,so the gun won't be necessary because if caught,you'd be killed and unless your family makes a whole hoopla about it,NOBODY will ever know.
That was funny though AND YOU CAN'T GET A GUN THROUGH THE AIRPORT

nah no dress codes, but being a tropical country its gonna be sticky n hot during the summer months so you want some things free flowing that dosent stick 2 u.
