Are you sure you don't have the saying mixed up "If life gives you lemons then make lemonade" It means even if it wasn't what you wanted make the best out of what you have.

the corect "normal" saying is life gives ya' lemons make lemonade, however I think someone got creative one day when they didn't want to keep saying the same thing over and over just like everyone else.
Not everyone like lemonade, and definitely more people are familiar with orange juice and like it quite a bit more. I think what the sayin' is actually trying to convey is if life gives you some bad things (lemons) make gomething good out of it (orange juice)
Another idea of how to explain that is someone trying to go against the flow. If everyone else is making lemonade with their lemons, and quite frankly making lemonade in such great quantity, wouldn't it be even better to have a different and even better alternative.
Kinda' like asking, chocolate or vanilla, and someone requesting strawberry, not one of the options given. Maybe to say they are thinkin' outside the box?

Sounds like someone butchered an old cliche to have fun with you. It's actually "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade," or, make the best out of a bad situation. Who ever said orange juice was just messing with your head, or trying to be funny.

yes, that is a simple question. It means that if you accidentally bought lemons at the grocery store, you should return them in exchange for some refreshing oranges and make juice with the oranges. Lemons are very sour and can cause wrinkles around your lips when you pucker and you look really ugly as well, thus orange juice makes you smile and you look really cute and sexy.

It is suppose to be If life gives you lemons make lemonade.
I like the one that goes, If life gives you lemons, make grape juice then let everybody wonder how you did it.
Just make the best out of the bad situations like if your Hispanic the don't expect u 2 b much. Do something famous and prove them wrong

You've got it a little mixed up. The saying goes "when life gives you lemons make lemonade" meaning make the best of a bad situation.

I think that the saying is to make lemon juice--silly.
To me, it means that you make something good out of a bad situation.

Take one thing and make it into another, its mind over matter, if you wanna see the positive side of things then make it happen, dont always see the negative side of things! When life hands you lemons... get the tequila and salt. Either way, you could sit there n think about it or drink to it.
