Unless, you have already enrolled in the first college for next semester, there shouldn't be any need to deal with them, except to maybe get a copy of your transcript.

It doesn't work like that unless your class times are going to conflict. It's not like high school where you "belong" to a school and need to withdraw before going to another. Most major univeristies with 2-yr community colleges in the area allow dual enrollment and give credit for taking classes at both schools at the same time. Sounds like, though, you're taking summer classes and got accepted for the fall at the 4 yr school.

If you've just been accepted to a 4 year school as a transfer student, it's very likely you will not take classes there until the fall, so you don't want to stop taking the classes you've paid for at the other school. If you're on financial aid and withdraw you have to pay the government back.

Follow the information the university will send you regarding orientation, transferring your transcripts, and admission. At your 2 yr school, don't sign up for fall classes. If you already have, I doubt you've paid for them yet so just call and disenroll. There is usually no charge before August. If you're taking summer classes there, you'll need to get an updated transcript after your grades are released.

Finally, make sure your financial aid is up-to-date and on record regarding the new school. The enrollment process should put you in contact with the finaid office and you can fill out any necessary paperwork there.

If you have already signed up for classes at the community or junior college you should officially withdraw from the college so as to not get billed and to leave your reserved places open for other students. It doesn't hurt to be courteous to your old college as they did enable you to get into the 4 year college.

Best of luck for your education!

You do not need to withdraw from a community college. Just don't sign up for classes. If you already have, then you'll have to drop all of them so you don't get charged anything.

Good luck to you! :)

Easy... Hop online and go to the colleges website athey all have them now and email the admissions dept. that way you won't be sitting by the phone all day. or just go down to the school and ask them in person sometimes the phone is such a waste of time!
Hope this helps!

Presumably you won't transfer mid-semester. So, just don't re-enroll for the next semester at the current college.

You just go to other college. Also, get a copy of your transcripts for your own personal needs. Not all of your classes will transfer, and you can challenge that!
