Use Bleach. If you dump pure bleach on it and leave it for an hour, you shouldn't have to scrub. Make sure to open windows though! Bleach fumes aren't that great for you. Bleach kills algae and bacteria.

I am thinking your bathroom grout is in your shower? The best way I have found to clean showers is DON'T EVER CLEAN THEM!!!! lol!!
To explain: Every time the shower is used, dry it. You could use a squeegie, guys love them. Or keep a rag nearby to dry the entire shower everytime it is used. It takes only a couple of minutes and saves hours of cleaning time. Usually the only thing you have to do is once in a while clean the bottom of the shower with a spray cleaner. It should come clean quickly if you don't let it get really dirty. When the shower is clean start by waxing the walls with a good car wax. You can use lemon oil on the doors. Then just dry after use. (rewax two or three times a year)

I would spray it with a water, bleach solution. After the shower is done squeegee the Walls off. Leave the curtain or door open to air out. Maybe just at night. if it is an eye sore.

Once you clean it - Apply a new coat of sealer. That will keep it clean for about 6 months
