I believe in God because that's what I was taught when I was younger. I see evidence of Him everyday in the good of people.

Here's a good answer (not my answer, I believe in God for different reasons, but here's an answer for your assignment)

If you believe there is a God, and it turns out there is no God, there is no harm done. It will actually make life easier because it gave you a sense of hope and security throughtout your life. If you DON'T believe in God and accept him, and it turns out that there is a GOd (which I totally believe to be true) then you won't get accepted into Heaven and will spend an eternity in Hell. So the more logical choice is to accaept God and The Bible.

i don't believe in God. and this quote below tells you why.

"Do you believe in God, Andrei? No. Neither do I. But that's a favorite question of mine. An upside-down question, you know. What do you mean? Well, if I asked people whether they believed in life, they'd never understand what I meant. It's a bad question. It can mean so much that it really means nothing. So I ask them if they believe in God. And if they say they do -- then, I know they don't believe in life. Why? Because, you see, God -- whatever anyone chooses to call God -- is one's highest conception of the highest possible. And whoever places his highest conception above his own possibility thinks very little of himself and his life. It's a rare gift, you know, to feel reverence for your own life and to want the best, the greatest, the highest possible, here, now, for your very own."

it's from Ayn Rand. from her book called We the Living.

I believe in a higher power because there doesn't seem to be a better explanation for how the earth exists. Also, I feel like there is an unexplainable connection between all people and all living things, which leads me to believe that this higher power connects us all.

First all let me tell u 1 thing: if you don't believe in God it wont make any difference to Him,
Look at yourself & and around you , there has to be some power controlling things around you and even yourself. You must believe in God becaue He is the One, Who cancells your plans which u r adment to carryout, well you have no control over even very small matters, where as He has.......

I don't believe in god.

If you can't find a reason to believe, perhaps you shouldn't be a part of your current religion. Maybe you could try researching some other religions to see if you can find something that fits you and your life a little better.
