If I could only have three of the five senses I'd choose:
Sight
Sound
Touch
Without smell, taste would be compromised (and vice-versa).

My nose is very sensitive, and aroma is such an important element of memory for me, so I'd HATE to lose the sense of smell! I love all sorts of foods (I'm fat, 'nuff said), so losing taste would be horrible. However, one can still feel and see and hear even if they can't smell and taste.
Imagine being at the beach and not being able to see it? Not being able to feel the swishing of the waves? Oh how awful. I'd trade taste and smell to still be able to enjoy the beach.

sight - to see the world God has created
taste - to know if the meal i've prepared for my family actually tastes good
touch - so that i'll know if i'm hurting or not and if i am, i can do something bout it
sound - i can do without coz i like peace and quiet
smell - i can do without coz of air pollution emitted by automobiles, factories and people who smoke

I lost my sense of motion, that was horrible, I felt like I was falling ALL THE TIME!

Sight (one of my biggest fears is losing my sight)
Sound (cause I'm nosy and you can't listen in if you can't hear)
