I personally love him. I loved the music he did when he was with Creed.
He has some great songs on his solo album, The Great Divide.

I think Scott Stapp kicks as*. I love Creed, they're one of the greatest bands of all time. I can't believe that Creed broke up, it sux. The Great Divide is also a really great CD. I really don't care what some people say about Scott. Sure hes done so dumb things like almost killing himself and that tape with Kid Rock and 4 women but he is still cool. We are all humans and we all make mistakes. Anyway, I really like how Creed's and Scott's music reflects on serious matters and GOD and the Bible. That's what makes Scott's music rock and up lifting. Rock on.
Also, check out Alter Bridge. Its guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips from Creed with ex-Mayfield Four front man Myles Kennedy. Their CD is One Day Remains. It rocks too.
