Yes, but do a purification ritual conforming to your religious tradition before you move in. The term "exorcism" is what Christians use, but there are many different purifications, depending on the religion.

I would say no. It depends a lot on how sensitive you are to stuff like that, but, at the very least there should be a priest blessing the house, or someone cleansing the air (native cleansing works beautifully - sage and sweetgrass and the chant - anyway they know what they are doing). The problem with this house is that, if it is haunted it is not by pleasant spirits, these are people who were taken violently and may not even know they are dead. At the very least the energies given off by the family living there and the agony they went through still resides in the atmosphere. Energy is absorbed by things, including walls and floors and even if there is no spirits there, that energy will still be, perhaps in just a very uncomfortable feeling, or feeling anxious.
If you can visit this place, taking an animal like a dog with you (animals sense many things we can't) and just get a feeling for the place. If there's something that just doesn't feel right to you, don't waste your money. It's a known haunted house, you aren't likely to make a big profit off of it when you do sell.

go to the house and see how you feel in and around it. if there's something there you will usually feel it. if there are ghosts in it you can get rid of them, look in the occult section of your book store or if your town has a magic shop look there, they'll have some simple rituals to get rid of the ghosts. if this is too much work look for a different house. ghosts can't actually hurt you but they can get pretty annoying and all the bad energy left from the murder can make you depressed.
look in the records to see what really happened in the house, maybe most of what the neighbors say is just gossip.

it was no fun. you would hear people dancing, laughing, dishes, pots and pans, being thrown all over the place.. i would hide under the bed.. bitting my finger nails, not breathing.
good luck bro!
spend one night by yourself, with the light off eating popcorn and PRAYYYYYYYYYY! listen to what is going on, smel watch.! again good luck BRO!

i lived in a house that was haunted before. the "ghost" was very nice i would say. the only things he did really where flush the toilet and turn on lights. once he did kick my then bf bc he bad mouthed the "ghost". if they r friendly then yes move in, if they r not then don't buy the house. know what ur getting into before u move in if u can handle hauntings. i myself would like liveing in a haunted house. i have no problems with good ghosts. if u have kids then don't buy it!!!!

I'd rather not move into a place that had that kind of energy created. Energy lingers and so do restless spirits. Unless you're prepared and truly have the ability to deflect and release such space - I'd suggest something with a bit more "light".

Uh... depends if you believe in ghosts and spritis. Personally I wouldn't... I'd be too freaked out by every noise I hear. Just remember... if you do buy it and then decide to move out, you're gonna have just as hard time selling it as the current owners. Not really the best investment.

I wouldn't buy it. Good ghosts are fine but that sounds really creepy. If you decide that you love the house, hire a spiritual advisor to come in and release the bad spirits/negative energy. Good luck!
