Black or navy suits. Pin strips make you appear taller and well as slim you. Shirts can be a solid color, the pastels are best. Make a statement with a broad selection of ties. Select shoes that have at least a one inch heel. Maybe once your working your company will have benefits to a gym where you can start working to get rid of some of the fat your talking about. Will Mister I would try suits ones u think is Ur type. like Ur favorite color small things like this will help u determine what suit and tie to get. And when shopping have a good friend to tell u the No's And the Yes's. Make sure to coordinate

errect posture is must for any cloths
wear a smile on ur face in addition to tie
wear comfortable cloths according to ur companys dress code
if formals permitted always wear dark trousers with light shaded shirts
avoid shining cloths

couple of decent suits that are pressed. casual slacks and button shirts and maybe a couple ties and dress shoes. AFTER you get the job see what the dress code is about jeans, sports shirts and jogging shoes

For a start i would invest in shoes with a little more height to make u a little more taller then usual, then work on the clothes. they do make shoes that makes u taller.
