If you ask me jazz is the thing to listen to. It's soothing, calming, relaxing and enjoyable. Though I'm 14 I love me some jazz and trust me when I say jazz is so cool. What can I say, I'm old skool. Who ever likes jazz totally o'right by me. young kids should get more into jazz because it has pizaz. If you like jazz your my new old skool buddy. Jazz also makes me dance, how bout you? Don't ever under estimate a 14 year old, because she knows her jazz chile. bye for now. haha!

You are soooo right ... JAZZ is the way to go !!! Though I am grown now (42) ... I was an avid fan of JAZZ as a teen ... even sang it (still do) . So much of the music today is way to harsh ... all the undertones & shattering vibration's messing with the delicate system's within our bodies ... literally making people ill mentally & physically ... no wonder people have so many problem's these day's ... just think about it !!!!! I think like you ... I will just stick to the beautiful , calm & soothing sound's of JAZZ :) . Have a great dance !!!!

Jazz is freaking awesome, especially when playing it with a band... I play trumpet and I've gotten to play it...Back in HS, I made a First Division at State Solo & Ensemble on a jazz solo... It's some of the best music ever created... Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, etc... gotta love it...

I can' t say I prefer one genre of music to another, but I enjoy Jazz very much, I play jazz on my clarinet, my favorite part is making up solos because of the chord changes and making it work with the band, jazz is one of the coolest types of music to perform anyway, it's full of freedom

I find works from Boney James ( Here She Comes ) and Eric Johnson ( Subterrain Blues ) easy on my mind and body.

i find most jazz dull and boring...however, there is one glaring exception...
"diminuendo and crescendo in blue"...count basie at the newport jazz festival...fantastic sax solo by the late paul gonsalves...you have to hear it to believe it...
