...or is only one sometimes enough?
hint: what happens when there are too many choices on the ballot? on the menu? in the closet?

... ahh, it's quite easy for me to become paralyzed by too many options too, and as i tend to procrastinate, sometimes i don't think things out as throughly as some people do. too many menu choices, not a problem... i'll have one of everything!! too many entertainment choices.. uh-oh.

Seemingly, it should be so, right? But based upon personal experience, I'm not convinced that having loads of options is necessarily a good thing; certainly not "always."
Sometimes, just a little is enough.
In answer to your follow-up query about having too many options on a ballot, I don't think I've ever felt such a luxury, alas. It seems to me it's invariably a lesser-of-two-evils scenario at election time, which only furthers my resolve to support a 3rd party in this country.
As for the restaurant menu, I like to have options but not too many (I can be indecisive at times and may end up going back and forth indefinitely before deciding what I really feel like eating, lol).
In the closet? Well, I usually put out my work attire the night before my next workday... but yes, I sometimes deliberate over this too long as well. Still, having options in this matter is nice as I'd hate to be wearing the same clothes over and over again.
How about you, Patz? How are you with options?

I think too many options is good. I like many options. I like to be able to choose what I want rather than pick from 2 choices. Options are ALWAYS good in my book. The more options, the more you can expericance different things even if you have been to that place a few times. The only place that didn't have many options that I have been too was In and Out Burger in San Diego. They were pretty basic. Though it was ALWAYS packed. I like options..many many options.

In some situations you want there to be many options but sometimes its easier with less. Sometimes when theres too many you dont know what the right one would be or the best one. So its gets hard and you get mad at yourself when you realise your choice was bad so in that case its better to have less.

Yes, many options are good. Remember the cat whose only option is to climb up a tree? The cat later found out that he's afraid to go down.

I guess you already have an answer for question. But to me, it's better to have many options. You just have to know yourself well enough. This is just life, too many options, its not easy, but I'd not pick it another way - especially the easier way.

In reality, there are not that many options. There are a few options, but they do allow for frill. Simple example: There are three basic options for a person who wants to purchase a skirt --, short, medium, and long. That's it. Color is frill. Lacy and fringe are frill. Tight and loose are frill.
We allow the frill to fool ourselves into thinking there are many options. In reality, there are few.

its better in general to have many options rather than fewer so that incase you made the wrong choice, you have the OPTION of choosing another that is better.
