Body Work on a '95 - '96 Telecaster?

Question

My Telecaster has some paint missing from being dropped by its previous owner. Do most local music shops fix things like this, or will it need to be shipped to fix the paint? There is basically no wood damage.

Unless there is something extra special about the guitar or its really horrible, leave it, it shows character
Besides, its a guitar, to be listened not seen
If you live in a decent size city, someone nearby can fix it
you can go to a luither, special guitar repairman
or you could trust it to a paint person
but leave it, and play it - loud and twangy
