The Yajurveda (Sanskrit यजुर्वेदः yajurveda, a tatpurusha compound of yajus "sacrifice" + veda "knowledge") is one of the four Hindu Vedas. It contains religious texts focussing on liturgy, rituals and sacrifices, and how to perform the same. The Yajurveda was probably written around 900 BCE.

I support "High Jack"'s answer. I can add that Yajurveda is one of four lyrics that compose the Vedas (see Upanishads / Bahajavadjeta) in Sanskrit. The other three lyrics are: Sama, Rig and Atharva. All four Vedas explain Brahma's nature and maintain that the universe is a textile that evolves from the body of god. The conscious mixing or unification between Atma and Brahma, or the Self and the Spirit, is the subject of the Vedas. The Vedas have been memorized through ancient history and have no author.
