if i was u i would get some one you are close to to get into a conversation with him and ask him if he has ever thought of a guy like that or if he is bi. girls are better for these things and easier 2 talk 2 when you are a gay guy so maybe a girl that he could trust and that u trust to or if u can ask him your self or do it in a kidding type way next time he does it and maybe he will take u serious and tell u he is bi. then you will know. try not to be scared u got nothing to lose and if u don't tell him u r what is the worst that can happen?? or hey if u real daring slap his *** back lol it don't got 2 mean anything b/c think about it if he does it to u joking then u can do it back and he wont think nothing go on life is short u got nothing 2 lose....

Given that he does this in public, I'm guessing he's somebody who is big into team sports like football and it's just a friendly gesture. If he does anything more obvious in private, maybe you could bring it up, but be careful. If he's engaged his thoughts are probably with his wife-to-be and not on picking up guys. If you value his friendship, just take it as it is. I feel for you, as a woman I have gotten attracted to "just friends" male friends that I know there was no way I could or should do anything about those feelings. And you know what? When I got involved with someone who really rocked my world, these crushes seemed really boring and silly afterwards (like, what did I see in this guy???). On the other hand, I can still be friends with these people and it's not an issue. It would have been if I had said anything.
Time will tell.

I have only seen guys slap butts in sports. If he does it other than that it's pretty gay. He might like you, or be bi himself. Tough call on what to do though, do you have a mutual lady friend that you trust? Mention to her that you think he might be gay and that she should ask him. That way you don't have to come out of the closet but you will find out if he is or not. If he is, Go for it and make your move. Good Luck

I don't think it's normal for a 'straight' guy to slap another man's butt. I think it sounds like he's flirting with you. Maybe you should ask him why he does. Who knows, maybe he's a closet bi guy too! ☺

OMG that reminds me of my 2 friends who are straight boys i think well one was leaning over a pool with his but sticking out (not mooning tho) and my other friend went to push him in but he grabbed his butt and held it for a second it was soooooooooooooo funny
